LEAH KIPPOLA-FRISKE

MINNEAPOLIS — Innovative law firm Nilan Johnson Lewis announced the promotion of Leah Kippola-Friske to shareholder status this year.

Kippola-Friske is a member of both NJL’s business litigation and product liability and complex torts practice groups. Listed among the “Best Lawyers in America” and as a Minnesota “Rising Star” attorney, her impressive trial experience — already hundreds of court appearances — involves a multitude of complex commercial litigation matters including contract and ownership disputes, intellectual property, catastrophic injuries, insurance claims, and employee benefits. In her time at NJL, Kippola-Friske has achieved numerous victories for her clients in a variety of multimillion-dollar disputes.

She received her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2013 and graduated magna cum laude from Northern Michigan University in 2006.

“Leah is an outstanding litigation strategist, and her expertise intersecting client goals with nuanced courtroom dynamics helped her ascend to becoming a firm shareholder,” Scott Rusert, chair of the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Groupsaid. “Her contributions will continue to be greatly appreciated by clients and team members alike.”
