IncredibleBank wins award

MARQUETTE — Independent Banker, an organization representing independent community banks in the U.S., recently named IncredibleBank, the Most Innovative Bank in America.

IncredibleBank, which was established in 2009 as the online platform for River Valley Bank, experienced success throughout the U.S. and the leadership team began the process of determining if the IncredibleBank name could serve as a permanent replacement to River Valley. After years of research, the decision was made to launch the new name and brand in 2019.

President and CEO Todd Nagel said, “Our name, IncredibleBank, keeps us honest. It’s a daily reminder of what we need to deliver, incredible customer experiences to our clients. But also, it’s a reminder that we need to deliver innovation to our customers as well.”

Embers opens new Gwinn branch

GWINN — Embers Credit Union recently added a new branch in downtown Gwinn.

The opening follows the recent mergers of locations in Munising and Trenary.

Gwinn members will have access to all of Embers Credit Union branches and ATMs, along with other products and services.
