Perryman promoted at mBank

MARQUETTE — mBank recently announced the promotion of Chris Perryman from assistant vice president assistant controller to vice president of accounting and reporting.

Perryman has been with mBank since 2016 and has over eight years of experience working in finance and accounting. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lake Superior State University in 2011 and a master’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016.

“We are always very pleased when we are able to fill key positions by promoting talent from within the organization and Chris was a natural fit for this job,” Jennifer Stempki, mBank senior vice president and controller, said in a press release. “As the bank continues to grow, the need to expand responsibilities within our internal departments grows as well. Chris will now be an even larger part of the financial reporting function within the bank and to its many constituencies.”

Perryman will serve in his new role out of the mBank administration office in Escanaba.

Aspirus welcomes Andy Costic

MARQUETTE — Aspirus has hired Andy Costic as the vice president – regional finance.

Costic brings more than 19 years of experience in finance, operations, revenue cycle and informational technology to Aspirus. Most recently, Costic served as regional chief financial officer with Abraham Lincoln Memorial and Taylorville Memorial hospitals in Springfield, Illinois.

Among his many major career accomplishments, Costic provided project leadership for the construction of a $50 million, 100,000-square-foot hospital in Lincoln, Illinois.

“We are thrilled that he has extensive experience in all aspects of rural health care finance and accounting to help us continue to improve our performance,” Christine Harff, Aspirus U.P. regional president, said in a press release. “He is going to hit the ground running and help us reach our goals.”

Costic earned a master of health administration degree from State University of New York and a bachelor of science in accounting from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania.
