TRAVERSE CITY — Cam Myers Marketing will select one student to receive up to a $2,000 scholarship at the start of 2019.

The owner, Cameron Myers, decided to create the scholarship after he realized there was a skills gap in today’s digital marketers, according to a press release.

“To be successful, marketers need to have a combination of traditional marketing skills, knowledge of multiple platforms and even a bit of development know-how,” he said in the release.

Cam Myers Marketing is accepting applications until Dec. 15 and will pick one winner on Jan. 15. This scholarship reward is for $500 a year (max four years and $2,000) for any high school student who will be attending a Michigan college or university in 2019, or for students currently enrolled in a Michigan college or university who are majoring in marketing.
