Marshall now a certified paralegal

Karen Marshall

MARQUETTE — The law firm of Kendricks, Bordeau, Adamini, Greenlee & Keefe, P.C. announces that assistant Karen E. Marshall has successfully completed her paralegal studies and has become a certified paralegal.

Karen has been with the firm since 2003. She obtained her associate degree from Northern Michigan University and paralegal training from Western Michigan University. Karen assists with Medicaid matters, corporate and real estate transactions, estate planning, and landlord-tenant and liquor license matters. Karen resides in Ishpeming.

The certified paralegal examination program is developed by NALA The Paralegal Association, a nonprofit organization representing over 19,000 paralegals nationwide. Applicants complete a comprehensive examination on topics ranging from legal research and ethics to knowledge of the American legal system, civil litigation, business organizations, and contracts. Certified paralegals maintain their status with periodic continuing legal education requirements.
