Steakhouse has new name, owners
ISHPEMING – What was formerly known as 41 Steakhouse, located just few minutes out of Ishpeming, now has a new name – Jerzi’s 41 Bar and Grill, according to a release from the business.
With a freshly painted exterior, some interior renovations, and a revamped menu, there are new things, but the restaurant and bar aims to continue the tradition of great food, great service, and a family-friendly environment that was already in place from the former owners, the release said.
New owners Jon and Jamie Clark took over the business this summer and are adjusting the life in the U.P. Originally from downstate, the couple and their children moved here knowing only a few people, but they knew the restaurant industry was what they wanted to do here.
According to the release Jon Clark has years of experience in the culinary industry and serves as the head chef at Jerzi’s. He has catered hundreds of events in his lifetime and, prior to moving to the U.P., recently served as the executive chef at a sports bar in the metro Detroit area.
“The Clarks are excited to be here and invite everyone to come to Jerzi’s and try it out,” the release said.
Some of the new specials they have implemented include: “Burger and Brew” Mondays, “Kids Eat Free” Tuesdays, “Half Off Pizza” Thursdays, and the traditional “Fish Fry Fridays.”
The Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce will celebrate these updates with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at noon Wednesday at Jerzi’s 41 Bar and Grill.
Jerzi’s is located at 9965 U.S. Highway 41, Champion. For more information about the restaurant, visit: www.eatat41.com or give them a call at (906) 486-4141.
