Jandrons builds new retail center

MARQUETTE – Twenty-seven years ago, Neil and Kathie Jandron, along with their daughters Tia and Tammy, took a leap of faith and opened Jandrons Fine Jewelry in the Westwood Mall, Marquette.

Seven years later, they expanded their business by adding Jandrons II, according to a release from the business. While Jandrons Fine Jewelry continued to focus mostly on gold jewelry, along with watch and jewelry repair, Jandrons II allowed them to expand their sterling jewelry lines, gifts for men and children, as well as all of their engravable gifts.

The Jandron family has prided itself in the customer service they have become known for, the release said. They believe “service after the sale” is equally important as “the sale” itself.

Their reputation continues to speak for itself, having been chosen Marquette’s Favorite Jewelry Store 10 out of the last 11 years, the release said. Jandron’s also believe in offering a fair price all of the time, and have never played the “sale” game,” according to the release.

“This business model has proved very successful for them, and they continue to run a very solid, trusted, family business,” the release said.

As Kathie Jandron is ready to retire after 27 years, their daughters Tia and Tammy, along with their son-in-law Jon Arntsen are committed to carrying on the family tradition. So much so, that they are in the process of constructing a beautiful, new modern retail center in Marquette Township, according to the release. The retail center will house their jewelry stores as well as two to three additional retail stores.

“They are very excited about their new location, which is right across the street from Target, between the America Mall and Peak Fitness,” the release said. “Their new location will provide great visibility, be easily accessible, and have plenty of convenient parking.”
