Atlantic Mine native Mark Randell joins Aspirus Health as director of clinics

HOUGHTON — Aspirus Health announced Mark Randell, DPT, has accepted its director of clinics role. Randell will be responsible for direct oversight of Aspirus Laurium Clinic, Aspirus Houghton Clinic, Aspirus Lake Linden Clinic and Aspirus Ontonagon Clinic.

Randell was born and raised in Atlantic Mine. He brings over 22 years of health care experience to Aspirus. Most recently, he was a physical therapist for UP Rehab Services. He also served as director of outpatient operations and post-acute care and as director of rehabilitation and sports medicine at UP Health System-Portage.

“Mark’s experience puts him in a great place to lead our clinics,” said Matt Krause, chief administrative officer. “We are excited to see the wonderful things he and the clinic team will do for our communities.”

A graduate of Jeffers High School, Randell earned his Bachelor of Science degree in health science from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Certificate from Saint Augustine University in Saint Augustine, Fla.

“I’m thrilled to assume this new role with Aspirus Health,” Randell said in a news release. “I’m excited to make a positive, meaningful impact on the health and community Aspirus serves and continue to help them grow.”
