Ishpeming’s annual Ladies Night Out set for Wednesday

GABI KAUTZ

Annual Ladies Night Out in Ishpeming will be back this Wednesday!

This year is the biggest this event has ever been, with over 40 vendors! On top of businesses having specials, food, music and goodies, there will be a punch card that you can pick up at your first stop. The goal is to get as many punches or stamps as possible, so you can be eligible to win prizes.

To enter in the drawing, you must have 26 of the 42 businesses stamped. To enter in the grand prize drawing, you must have 34 of the 42 businesses stamped. You will then leave your punch card at your last stop of the night, and the drawing will take place Friday.

Each participating business will have its own exciting specials going on, and some businesses will also showcase local vendors. Local vendors will be at Iron Range Agency, Rollies Furniture, Earthly Treasures, VFW and Main Street School of Cosmetology. Double Trouble Photo Booth will be inside Rollies, and there will be live music at Earthly Treasures, Rare Earth Goods and Venice Pub & Pizzeria!

This event goes from 1 to 8 p.m.; however, business hours vary. Some will close at 6 p.m., and some are open as late as 2 a.m.! The punch cards are helpful because they list businesses in order by location, and have closing times next to those that do not close at 8 p.m.

If you get your punch card before the day of the event, you’ll be able to plan your Ladies Night journey ahead of time and enjoy it as much as possible.

They are available at participating businesses, and here at the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce office, located at 910 U.S. 41 West in Ishpeming.

For more information or to see a list of participating businesses, check the Ishpeming Business Association Facebook page. This will be an awesome night, whether your plan is to do some Holiday Shopping or if you just want to spend time with your ladies, taste some wine and take funny photo booth pictures!

Even if you don’t plan to use a punch card (but why not try to win some prizes?), come out and join the fun!
