The Miners felled Escanaba in a doubleheader on Tuesday, 20-10 and 13-1, then on Thursday defeated visiting Marquette 14-6. KINGSFORD — The Negaunee High School girls track team ran, threw and leapt to a dominating victory at the Flivver Invitational on Thursday in Kingsford. The Miners were so transcendent that their 191 points was more than the combined total of the other four teams — the host Flivvers, Westwood, Ishpeming and Iron Mountain had scores that added up to only 150.
