To those of you who voted for Mr. Trump, please remember that when he begins his presidency and implements his policies, there should be no complaining, criticizing, or pretending that you didn’t know what was going to happen. Christmas season a time of joy

To the Journal editor: Fifty years ago (last) Friday, Dec. 6, 1974, the Ishpeming High School girls basketball team brought  home the school’s first Class B Regional Championship trophy by beating West Iron County, 42-36, at Escanaba High School. Reducing plastics pollution possible

To the Journal editor: Most of us have heard the alarming stories of plastic pollution in oceans and its harmful effects on marine life and water quality. But we need to realize that harmful forever plastic pollution is also present in the Upper Peninsula’s rivers, lakes, roads, landfills, and wildlife.
