Easter weekend finally here

Easter weekend is upon us, and there are quite a few events to get locals in the holiday spirit. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, west enders can have lunch with the Easter Bunny at the Ishpeming VFW. Hot dogs and refreshments will be available. The VFW post 4573 is located at 310 Bank St. in Ishpeming. On Saturday, the United Way and Kiwanis Club of Marquette will put on a Kids Easter Egg Hunt at Presque Isle Park.
