MARQUETTE — Women, Wine and Wellness has grown over the years. Over 250 women attended the event last year. Vendors range from local jewelry, consciously crafted women’s clothing, natural health care practitioners, gyms and studios, salons and more.

This event will be free to the public, with complimentary wine and light snacks, as well as a chance to win from over $3,000 in prizes.

The staff at Integrated Wellness Chiropractic, who masterminded this event, are passionate about your health and wellness.

IWC offers a multitude of services including chiropractic care, Active Release Technique (ART), and deep tissue massage.

Dr Brandon Turino, owner and chiropractor at IWC, believes what sets them apart is their whole-body approach and their attention to detail. “An old ankle sprain that never quite healed right could be affecting your hip while you walk which, in turn, could be affecting your shoulder. And vice-versa. We take the time to address all areas from all aspects so you can feel and heal better in the shortest amount of time.”

Dr Brandon says that their ideal client is someone looking to get to the root cause of their issues and would prefer to not just temporarily mask it with pharmaceuticals. “We treat athletes, busy business people, busy moms and dads, and even kids. Anyone looking to optimize their health naturally in this fast-paced world.”

Adrienne Roberts, Marquette County’s only ART practitioner, focuses on the muscles, soft tissue, tendons and ligaments. “I break up adhesions and scar tissue allowing your muscles to become physically stronger and healthier so your body can feel and function at its best.” ART is best for athletes, those with new and chronic injuries, and those looking to optimize their health.

Alexandra Maxwell, IWC’s massage therapist, is proficient in multiple techniques including deep tissue, prenatal massage, PNF, cupping, and sports massage. She has a great understanding of how the human body works and will help you to feel your best.

Come visit with the IWC staff and all the vendors, trainers, and practitioners at the Women Wine and Wellness event on Friday Oct. 19 from 4-7 at IWC’s clinic on Baraga Avenue!
