NEW YORK (AP) — Amazon was sued Wednesday by Federal Trade Commission for what it called a years-long effort to enroll consumers without consent into its Prime program and making it difficult for them to cancel their subscriptions. In a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, the agency accused Amazon of using deceptive designs, known as “dark patterns,” to deceive consumers into enrolling in the program. ATV driver injured in Marinette County crash

By Journal Staff ATHELSTANE, Wis. — An all-terrain vehicle driver was injured in a Friday crash in Marinette County, Wisconsin. Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller reported in a news release that at 5:34 p.m., Marinette County Dispatch received a call reporting an ATV crash on Forest Road 221, which is part of the ATV trail system in Athelstane. Evidence at the scene showed an adult male, who was the lone occupant of the ATV, lost control while negotiating a corner.
