NEGAUNEE, MI – Debra Marie Durfee, 67, of Negaunee, passed away peacefully at home Friday evening, October 9, 2026 while in the care of her loving family.
The daughter of the late Frederick 'Jim' and Mary (Pellow) Grawn, Debra was born April 7, 1959 and graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1977. She worked as a commercial and residential housekeeper for many years. In her free time, Debra enjoyed watching reality TV and occasional trips to the casino with her sister-in-law, Candy. More than anything, she loved raising her beloved grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Durfee and his daughter, Alicia (Tim) Durfee Sullivan; grandchildren: Randy Tossava and Raeann Larson; her siblings: Linda (Dan) Rose, Cathy Fowler, Michael Grawn, Stephanie (Doug) Guay and Robert (Candy) Barto; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kelli Marie Tossava; and a brother, Jim Grawn, Jr.
