Ronald George Klumb

Ron was born to Fred and Emma Klumb September 15, 1936 in Marquette, MI. He graduated from Graveraet High School and Michigan Tech. Shortly after graduating he returned to Marquette to help with the thriving family business, the Northwoods Supper Club. Over the years Ron grew the business becoming the destination for countless special events and club meetings. In 1998, Ron sold the family business and retired from a very full life. While he retired from the restaurant he maintained many friendships with prior employees and customers until his passing.

Ron and Ardis enjoyed many retirement years in Florida before moving back to the UP in 2024.

Ron’s final years were spent at Lakeview Assisted Living in Gladstone. He found a very welcoming staff willing to work with his many special requests, and his physical constraints. Thanks to everyone at Lakeview and UP Hospice for their exceptional care and kindness.
