Stephanie Vernier

December 1, 1976 – February 6, 2024.

Our little red haired girl decided that it was time to go on a new journey. She will now SEE all the beauty and experience the joys of her new existence that her earthly limitations denied her.

Run, Stephie run! Go as fast as you can. Don’t stop till you get to the river, grab the swing, let go, and swim in the water till you can’t swim any longer.

Take your two new soles to the wildflower meadow, feel the warmth of the ground and the sunshine upon your beautiful wavy red hair.

SEE the clouds, SEE the butterflies, SEE the birds that you could only once hear.

Our hearts are forever broken. Pieces are missing and those left behind are forever changed.

We will miss your big smile, your contagious belly laugh, and your giggles. For those whose lives Stephie came into, please think of her today and the special moments you shared with her.

The hearts that are forever broken include: Mother- Lisa Rossland, Father- David (Linda) Vernier, Sisters- Brandi Jon-Pierre, Alexandra Vernier, Brooke (Andy) Ferns, Brittany (Neil) Frederickson, special Aunt- Stacey Pirhonen, Stephie’s number one nephew- Teddy Jacobs, and Yvonne Dunlap who was like a second mom to her.

Stephie is preceded in death by Grandmother- LeiLani Beckmann, Grandfather- Eugene Pirhonen, Grandparents- Carmen and Lee Campbell, and Grandfather- Frank Vernier.

Our special thank you to the staff of Woodridge for taking care of our little red-haired girl. You guys were amazing! A shoutout to the doctors, ICU and sixth floor staff of UP Health System, and also UP Home Health and Hospice of Marquette.

Following the families wishes, cremation will take place with no public services.

Stephie’s obituary may also be viewed at bjorkandzhulkie.com where relatives and friends may leave a note of remembrance.
