SKANDIA – Gauthier Dairy of Skandia, owned by Mrs. Adolphus Gauthier and her sons, Edward, Henry and Leo, has been purchased by the Jilbert Dairy of Calumet. The sale makes all of the Jilbert Dairy products, well known in the Copper Country and the western Upper Peninsula, available at stores and doorsteps in the central section of the Peninsula. Manager of the Jilbert Dairy in Skandia will be David Jilbert, who formerly managed the Jilbert Dairy in Ontonagon. He and his wife Peggy will move to Skandia.
