To the Journal editor:

Here we are into December 2023, the last month of the year. Some good news in our so-called challenging world: Not much snow yet, but winter is coming.

Think of the good part of winter. Clean, white snow, less humidity. Also, while you can, get out and enjoy winter activities: Skiing, snow shoeing and snowmobiles. Lots of groomed trails.

Also think of after Dec. 21, the start of winter. Soon, the days will be getting longer, but the best news is it’s the coming of our, Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, coming to save us and show us the real life to live.

Slow down and know His peace, not the fast moving world way. So it’s a choice to make. I choose the Lord’s way.

Peace. Relax and enjoy the real meaning, which is Jesus’s birthday, so Merry Christmas and enjoy family and be thankful for many blessings.
