Republic-Michigamme Competes in High School Bowl
MARQUETTE- Republic-Michigamme played Newberry in a preliminary round of High School Bowl and won by a score of 120-100. Thirty-eight schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 45 years on the air. Republic-Michigamme will advance to the second round when they play Menominee, scheduled to air on January 20. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 pm and Mondays at 3 pm. It is also available on the Michigan Learning Channel Mondays at 1 pm and 8 pm. Find more information on the 2023-2024 tournament at wnmutv.nmu.edu.
