MARQUETTE — A severe thunderstorm that moved through the central Upper Peninsula on Thursday evening caused widespread power outages, including at The Mining Journal’s printing facility in Powers in northern Menominee County.

Due to this, Friday’s Mining Journal will not be delivered in today’s U.S. mail.
