Blood need critical
MARQUETTE — The Upper Peninsula Regional Blood Center is experiencing a critical need for O-negative, A-negative and B-negative blood types.
The center has collection sites in Marquette, Hancock and Escanaba and is the primary supplier of blood products to 13 U.P. hospitals. The blood supply allows health care providers to treat patients with a wide variety of conditions. All blood donations stay in the U.P.
