All about Town with Mary Jayne

In the photo at left: This is perhaps 15 or so years ago when the Munising Senior Center was very active and our project that year was a cookie sale. A fairly large amount of cookies were sold for perhaps $20 and you yourself could skip the cookie baking. It was fun and quite successful. Although I will admit I prefer my cookies almost fresh out of the oven while still warm, especially chocolate chip. In matter of fact, when chocolate chip cookies first appeared, I was a child and a neighbor offered one and I refused, stating that I did not like raisins. It took her quite a while to convince me those were not raisins. However once I tasted them, I was sold.

And, in the photo below, when Munising High School was Mather (before 1980) the band was rather large and of course had at least a couple of band concerts a season. This appears to be the formal concert (probably holiday season) and in those days they were always well attended. Oh, for the good ole’ days.

Starting at $3.23/week.
