To the Journal editor:

A few weeks ago I was at the vegetable stand in Ishpeming. I had only my debit card and a couple dollars in my purse.

Had about $22 worth of the veggies, but the cashier told me they do not honor debit cards.

The lady behind me took my basket and said “It’s my treat, enjoy.” She smiled and said “have a great day and God Bless.”

I hope she has had happy and safe travels.
