Kamps among Junior Club champions at Marquette Golf Club

MARQUETTE -- Karsten Kamps won the 18-hole Boys Junior Club Championship at the Marquette Golf Club in late August.

Playing on the Heritage course, Kamps shot 81 in his 14- to 17-year-old division. Joseph Luke was runner-up with 82, while Lincoln Sager came in third with 85.

In nine-hole tournaments, Jace Moore carded 44 to take the boys 11-13 division, followed by Zachary Leonard with 49 and Connor Stade 54.

And in the boys 8-10 bracket, Boden Moore won with 43, followed by Caleb Aho shooting 53 and Jack Pond 55.

For the girls, the 11-13 division was claimed by Roegen Hruska with 69 and 8-10 division by Olivia Stade with 75.
