Elenich, Antilla star in Ishpeming

ISHPEMING — Mike Elenich of Royal 2 had a break-and-run and Al Antilla of Venice had an 8-ball break on Sept. 26 in the Ishpeming Men’s Pool League.
Rainbow scored the biggest victory, defeating Riverside 17-7.
In other matches, Jack’s 2 doubled up for a 16-8 win over Royal 2 and Jack’s 1 felled Wayside 15-9.
There were 14-10 victories recorded in these matchups — Royal 3 over Tilden Club, Jack’s 3 over Paradise and Royal 1 over Venice.
On Sept. 19, Jack’s 2 scored a 20-4 win over Royal 3, while Jack’s 1 beat Riverside 17-7.
Venice doubled up Paradise 16-8, Wonder Bar dropped Rainbow 14-10, Jack’s 3 recorded a 14-10 win over Royal 2 and Tilden Club and Wayside tied 12-12.
On opening night, Sept. 12, John Jonas of Jack’s 2 had a break-and-run.
8-ball breaks were recorded by Tom Auston of Royal 1, Joe Bauer of Wayside, Fred VanLuven of Tilden Club and Mike Kjellman of Wonder Bar.
Royal 1 dominated in a 22-2 win over Paradise.
Tilden Club knocked off Riverside 17-7, Venice earned a 14-10 win over Royal 2, Jack’s 2 felled Wayside 14-10, Jack’s 1 nipped Wonder Bar 13-11 and Jack’s 3 edged by for a 13-11 win over Royal 3.
