MARQUETTE – The Orange Conquistadors edged the Pink Ninjas 3-2 in the playoff championship game of the Under-12 Girls division in the Superiorland Soccer Association.

Scoring goals in the game were Alexis Adams, Natalie Beaudry, Taylor Kemppainen and Sammy Balko.

In earlier rounds of the playoffs, the Pink Ninjas defeated the Emeralds 5-0 as Adams, Kiera Holm, Madison Lami and Olivia Bohl scored.

The Emeralds beat Purple Rain 4-2 as Madison Smith, Elizabeth Overmyer and Kate Randall contributed to the winning cause with goals.

The Orange Conquistadors downed the Purple Reign 4-1 as the OC’s Kemppainen, Balko and Carolyn Eagle scored.

The Conquistadors also tied the Pink Ninjas 1-1 with Adams and Eagle netting goals.
