Menard, Pennala, Dehlin reach milestones
MARQUETTE – Several milestones were set by racers at the Marquette BMX track during two nights of racing during the final week of July.
On July 26, Luke Menard, 9, of Negaunee attained his 20th Intermediate-level win to become the track’s newest Expert class racer.
Then on July 28, Chase Dehlin, 5, of Marquette won for the first time in the 5-and-under Novice class, while Doug Pennala earned a win the 36-40 Novice class that pushed him into the Intermediate class.
