MARQUETTE – Jordon Mason for the boys and Mackenzie Rasmussen for the girls were named overall winners of the skills contest held in conjunction with the finals tournament of the Marquette County Junior Golf Association on Aug. 3.

Held at Gentz’s Homestead Golf Course in Chocolay Township, Mason won the boys 14 years and older skills division, while Rasmssen took the girls 8-9 category.

Here are top two finishers in each division at the skills and finals, with winners listed first:

SKILLS

Boys – Overall, Jordon Mason; 8-under, Marshall Peters and Trent Lorens; 9-year-olds, Mason Aldrich and Connor Stade; 10-year-olds, Drew Peterson and Holden Meyer; 11-year-olds, Jace Moore and AJ Bottari; 12-year-olds, Jack Helgren and Jackson Gladwell; 13-year-olds, Brett Wittler and Ansel Frost; 14 and older, Jordon Mason and Jacob Ennett
