The Jackson’s Pit team of the Marquette Men’s Fastpitch League captured the Cal’s Party Store Cup during a tournament held at Hurley Field in Marquette from June 17-19. Jackson’s defeated Marquette Fence 6-5 in the championship game as winning pitcher Bryan Harris hit a walkoff single in the bottom of the seventh inning. Harris was named the tourney’s Most Outstanding Pitcher and Most Outstanding Hitter, while Dave Peterson of Marquette Fence earned Most Outstanding Fielder honors.
