MARQUETTE – Anna Grzelak scored to help the Pink Ninjas defeat Purple Reign 2-1 in an Under-12 Girls division game of the Superiorland Soccer Association held last Tuesday.

Haylee Emard netted Purple Reign’s goal, while defensive star of the game was Melodee Dunham.

U14 Coed

In games played on Thursday, Team 5 scored a 6-2 win over Team 7, with the winners getting goals from Robert Apple, Hallie Leuzzo, Jacey Johnson and Ethan Sellers. Team 7 netted scores from Carsen Hayes and Chase Seger.

T10 posted an 8-0 shutout of Team 8 as T10’s Jack Mattias, May Waters, Rocco Carlson, Chad Pohlman and Bryce Jarvi scoring.

Blue Thunder was just a bit better than regular ol’ Thunder as the former won 5-4. Justin Compton, Ethan Loukinen and Averie Kelly scored for the Blue T’s.

On June 23, Blue Thunder felled the Banana Slugs 8-5 as the winners’ Compton, Kelly, Ethan Loukinen and Jessup Delongchamp all scored.

T10 doubled up the Thunder 6-3 with T10 getting goals by Pohlman and Carlson.

Team 7 scored eight goals in a game against Team 1 with Team 7 scorers including Seger, Sofia van den Ende, Camila Tierrablanca and JoAnna Langston.

Team 8 zoomed to a 17-0 win over Team 5, though no scorers were reported.

On June 16, Team 5 put together a 9-2 win over Team 1, whose Connor McLaughlin scored.

U10 Girls
