MARQUETTE – The Blue Thunder rumbled to an 8-3 victory over Team 5 in Under-14 Coed division action of the Superiorland Soccer Association on July 14.
Robert Apple, Seth Compton, Jacey Johnson, Ethan Sellers, Jasmine Burke and Cassandra Deshone scored for the Thunder, while Sydney McCarthy and Justin Compton put the ball in the net for Team 5.
In another U14 game from that day, the Thunder scored an 8-0 shutout of Team 8 as Taylor Ragusett, Chloe Aldrich, Brett Wittler, Molly Snyder and Kaitlyn Berandt scored.
T10 scored an 11-1 win over Team 1 as the winners got goals from Jack Mattias, May Waters, Chad Pohlman, Bryce Jarvi, Rocco Carlson and Abigail Boehmer.
Team 7 slid by the Banana Slugs 5-3 with Team 7 getting goals from Chase Seger, Sofia Van Den Ende and Camilla Tierra Blanca.
U12 Girls
In a game played July 12, the Green Emeralds shut down Purple Reign 4-0 with goals coming from Shelby Prusi, Romy Kus and Elizabeth Overseer.
Also that day, the Orange Conquistadors overcame the Pink Ninjas 3-1 with scores from Kiera Holm, Sierra Beck and Carolyn Eagle.
