MARQUETTE – Winning pitcher Randy Trepanier helped himself by hitting a home run in a 9-1 win by Cal’s Party Store over Champion Glass on May 31 in the Marquette Men’s Fastpitch Softball League at Hurley Field in south Marquette.
Also that night, Matt Malone went 3 for 4 and Dylan Patterson pitched Fox Motors of Marquette to a 7-0 victory over 906RealEstate.com. 906’s Craig Storm had two hits.
On June 1, Jim Reynolds and Ryan Schmeltzer had hits to help winning pitcher Ryan Labin in Marquette Fence’s 12-8 victory over Jackson’s Pit of Negaunee. Jackson Pit was led by multiple-hit game from Kyle Wills and Bill Hill.
Dylan Hamari knocked in the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh inning as Fox Motors came from behind to defeat Marquette Fence, 11-8, on June 2. Labin was the winning pitcher as several teammates had multi-hit games. Fox was paced by Jason Sarasin’s 3 for 5 night.
