MARQUETTE – The Thunder defeated Athletic Heather 7-2 in an Under-14 Coed division game of the Superiorland Soccer Association on June 2.
Chloe Aldrich, Thomas Lohfink, Brett Wittler, Jackson O’Conner and Lydia Fladung scored for the winners, while Justin Compton had a goal for the Heather.
Neon Orange posted a 9-0 shutout of Aquatic Blue as Seth Compton, Ethan Sellers, Jacey Johnson, Hallie Leuzzo and Robert Apple were goal scorers.
Jack Mattias and Chad Pohlman scored for the Cardinal in a 7-2 victory over the Navy.
In a makeup game played May 31, Blue Thunder scored a 7-1 win over Team #1 as Thunder’s Justin Compton, Dawson Delongchamp, Ethan Loukinen and Sydney McCarthy scored.
U18 Coed
Thomas Truckey was named defensive player of the game for Team Red after defeating The Orphans 3-0 on June 2. Goals were scored by Imari McKinney and Hannah Blemberg.
In another game in the division, Neon Orange outscored Aquatic Blue 7-2.
U12 Girls
The Orange Conquistadors doubled up Purple Reign 4-2 on May 31 as the winners’ Carolyn Eagle, Hannah Mason, Hailey Rudolphi and Sammy Balko had goals and Megan McPhee and Nistha Gautam scored for the Reign, whose defender of the game was Jazmine Flaska.
The Pink Ninjas downed the Emeralds 7-1 with the Ninjas’ Julia Ott, Alexis Adams, Natalie Beaudry and Anna Grzelak scoring.
U12 Coed
Toby Camilli scored the lone goal in the Yellow Jackets’ 1-0 victory over the Bloody Cranberries on June 1.
In another game that day, the Real Joez held off Green, 3-2. The Joez got goals from Joe Demattia, Caden Bouws and Brett LaBelle.
