MARQUETTE – A pair of young Marquette riders – Cable Poquette, 5, and Parker Gotham, 6 – picked up their first wins as members of USA BMX on Tuesday at the Marquette BMX track.
On June 4, two riders collected their 10th novice wins to move up to the intermediate class, while three other riders earned their first wins.
Moving up to intermediate are Russell Bess, 6, of Marquette and Nicholas Singer, 12, of Munising.
First-time winners were Ty Sadler, 5, of Marquette; Parker Gotham, 7, of Marquette; and Connor Phillips, 9, of Big Bay.
