ISHPEMING – All five matches were so close that two ended in ties during play on June 1 in the Ishpeming Twilight Horseshoe League.
All three that produced winners came with 10-8 scores, including both in the Major League – Pine Grove Bar over Riverside Club and Maki’s Mini Mart over StoneHouse.
Two of the three matches in the Classic League were 9-9 ties – American Legion vs. Willey’s Tire Shop and Negaunee VFW vs. Paradise Bar – while the only winner was Household Appliance, which defeated Cascade Inn.
