ISHPEMING – Lilli Gilstorff cracked two home runs, one a grand slam, to lead Cliffs Natural Resources to a 15-6 victory over Jubilee Foods in the Junior League of WIN League girls slowpitch softball last week.
Gilstorff was also 3 for 3 at the plate with a total of six RBIs, while teammates Alexis Gregorich, Hannah Mattila and Allyson Smail each went 2 for 2.
Jubilee’s Ella Luke was 3 for 3 with two runs, Paeton Pole 2 for 3 with two runs and Maddie Gendron 1 for 1 with two walks.
TruNorth Credit Union bounced Meyer Family Vision 21-4 as Madison McNab homered in a 3-for-3 performance.
Teammate Sophie Corradino was also 3 for 3, while Meyer’s Ellie Homola tripled and Adalyn Wood doubled.
Cliffs defeated Meyer 20-9 as MacKenzie Nelson was 3 for 3 with three RBIs and three runs scored.
Gilstorff and Hailey Ollie each added 3-for-3 nights as Gilstorff homered and Ollie scored a run.
Meyer’s Madison Barry hit two homers and scored three runs while going 3 for 3, while Homola was also 3 for 3 with a run and Alana Nuorala was 2 for 3 with a run.
TruNorth took out Martin Sports Apparel 11-6 as Madison McNab homered while going 2 for 3 and Corradino went 3 for 3.
Martin’s Hailey Hytinen hit a homer and double.
