Shorthanded Sentinels 6th at Esky Elks wrestling

ESCANABA — Despite being a bit shorthanded, Marquette had a strong showing at the Elks Invitational high school wrestling tournament hosted by Escanaba High School on Saturday. Sentinels skiers dominate at Pine Mountain

IRON MOUNTAIN — Marquette dominated in both boys and girls meets to open the high school alpine skiing season at Pine Mountain in Iron Mountain. The Sentinels scored 21 points in the boys meet for a big victory as runner-up Ironwood was well back with 81. Host Norway scored 91 and Houghton had 134.
