NEGAUNEE — Maybe it wasn’t the gales of November that Gordon Lightfoot so eloquently sung about in “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,” but some wind on Wednesday afternoon presented a challenge to the Negaunee High School girls tennis team. Miners keep offense humming in win over Gladstone

NEGAUNEE — Negaunee improved to 2-0 this season following a 42-6 pounding of Gladstone on Friday night. The Miners jumped out to an early lead as senior Kyle Waterman rushed in for a 9-yard touchdown and Ty Neimi followed it up with a 12-yard TD run with 2:33 to go in the first quarter.
