Miners keep offense humming in win over Gladstone

NEGAUNEE — Negaunee improved to 2-0 this season following a 42-6 pounding of Gladstone on Friday night. The Miners jumped out to an early lead as senior Kyle Waterman rushed in for a 9-yard touchdown and Ty Neimi followed it up with a 12-yard TD run with 2:33 to go in the first quarter. Marquette dominant at Marquette County Meet

MARQUETTE — Marquette swept team titles and the top two places individually in both varsity races at the Marquette County Meet in high school cross country held at Presque Isle Park in Marquette on Thursday. The Sentinels boys were especially dominant, with their runners posting the four fastest times and six of the top eight.
