MARQUETTE — Marquette golfers nearly swept the top finishes at the first stop of the Upper Peninsula Golf Association Junior Tour that was held at the Marquette Golf Club on Tuesday.

Breaking the Marquette spell was Mika Jalkanen of Houghton, who won the boys 10- and 11-year-old boys division by shooting 45.

Marquette winners included Tyler Bergwall, boys 16-18, with 76; Jordan Jurmu, boys 14-15, 83; Payton Dube, girls 14-15, 89; Jace Moore, boys 12-13, 44; Abi Luke, girls 10-11, 75; and Pavel McCutcheon, boys 8-9, 37.
