Huebner to race in 800 meter final

KINGSVILLE, Texas — Northern Michigan University senior, and former Marquette Redette, Shayla Huebner qualified for the finals in the 800-meter run at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships Friday.

She finished with a time of 2:08.75, which placed her fourth in the first heat, with the top eight finishers over the three heats moving on to the finals.

The 800 meter final will start at 7:55 p.m. EDT tonight.
