Wildcat men facing GLIAC foe
MARQUETTE – Naba Echols will lead the Northern Michigan University men in a two-game GLIAC road trip beginning tonight at Saginaw Valley State.
The 8 p.m. basketball game will see Echols, a freshman guard, take a 12.8-point scoring average into the game for NMU, which is 6-15 overall and 4-13 in the GLIAC.
Teammate Alex Mustert is scoring 6.0 points per contest to go along with a team-best 5.3 rebounds a game.
On a seven-game winning streak, SVSU (19-4, 15-2), will have C.J, Turnage leading the way with team highs in both points (16.9) and rebounds (5.5).
