NMU men golfers in second
SHEBOYGAN, Wisconsin – The Northern Michigan University men’s golf team is in second place after the first day of the two-day Kohler Collegiate Classic.
The Wildcats shot 314 in the first round on the par-72 Whistling Straits Golf Course, site of the several esteemed tournaments including the 2015 PGA Championship.
Martin Eliasson led the Wildcats with a 77 and is tied for fifth. Emil Lundgren was next with 78 to be tied for 12th.
Teammate Austin Elsner recorded a 79 (tied for 18th), Cyril Botha 80 (tied for 22nd) and Alex Palmer 88 (tied for 71st).
