NMU men golfers 2nd at Kohler

SHEBOYGAN, Wisconsin – The Northern Michigan University men’s golf team finished second with a score of 614 at the Kohler Collegiate Classic on Tuesday. Kaiser University won the title with 606 in an event played at the par-72 Whistling Straits Golf Club, home of several major tournaments including this year’s PGA Championship.

The Wildcats were led by Martin Eliasson (77-75) and Emil Lundgren (78-74), who tied for seventh place with 152. Cyril Botha finished 10th for NMU with 80-73-153. In addition, NMU’s Austin Elsner tied for 17th with 79-78-157 and Alex Palmer tied for 85th with 88-88-176.

Individual titlist was Kaiser’s Adam Andreasson with 79-69-148.
