AURORA, Ill. – Kayla Chosa of Northern Michigan University was named to the all-tournament team after helping the Wildcats post a 3-0 record at the Mizuno Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover Tournament.

“This is a wonderful honor for Kayla and our team,” NMU head coach Dominic Yoder said. “Kayla has worked through a few setbacks this season, but this honor really represents her work ethic and her desire to achieve for her team and Northern Michigan. I’m very proud of Kayla and our team for this week’s accomplishments.”

Chosa averaged 3.64 kills per set and recorded a .364 hitting percentage over the weekend. She led the Wildcats in kills against St. Joseph’s, Indiana, with 16 and Bellarmine, Kentucky, with 15.

Northern returns to action at 7 p.m. Friday when it travels to Ohio Dominican.
