MARQUETTE – Today is the last day to purchase tickets to attend a family-friendly pregame party for the Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan universities’ hockey game to be played at the Berry Events Center on Saturday night.

The party, sponsored by the NMU and MTU alumni associations, runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Vandament Arena in the PEIF building, located adjacent to the ice rink. It features games for kids, door prizes, spirit gear giveaways, music from radio station 100.3 The Point and appearances by players and mascots from both teams. Food and drinks, including craft beer from the Keweenaw and Marquette areas, will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 years and under, and can be purchased at NMU EZ Ticket outlets, by calling 227-1032 or visiting the website www.nmu.edu/tickets.
