MARQUETTE – Northern Michigan University senior forward Reed Seckel was named the WCHA Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Seckel scored two goals Saturday to help the Wildcats come back and defeat Bowling Green 4-3. His second goal tied the game with less than eight minutes remaining.

He is tied for second on the team in goals with seven and has notched 14 points this season.

NMU plays Lake Superior State Friday and Saturday at 7:07 p.m. at the Berry Events Center.
