Well, that's only if that first-to-four-wins setup gets to its ultimate game.
The 43-year-old Marquette Senior High School and Northern Michigan University graduate now lives with his family in Colorado.
Hamari is on the ALCS seven-man group whose crew chief is Bill Miller, who is umpiring in his 10th League Championship Series.
According to information on mlb.com, Hamari was set to start Monday night in Tampa, Florida, as the rightfield umpire.
He has to rotate through the other five positions on the field, plus a "night off" position set up for umps just before their turn behind home plate.
He'll be in left field for Game 2 in Tampa tonight, third base for Game 3 in Cleveland on Thursday, second base for Game 4 in Cleveland on Friday, first base for Game 5 in Cleveland on Saturday, and off for Game 6 in Tampa on Monday.
Game 7 is scheduled for 8 p.m. next Tuesday in Tampa.
All games in this series are being televised on TBS, TruTV and HBO Max.
The crew chief Miller, 59, made his big league debut in 1997 and enters the ALCS with 126 career postseason games, second among active umpires to Alfonso Marquez’s 130. Miller is fifth overall, also trailing Gerry Davis (151), Ted Barrett (138) and Joe West (132).
Along with Hamari, the ALCS crew includes Jordan Baker, Nestor Ceja, Chad Fairchild, Mark Ripperger and Carlos Torres. Ceja was scheduled as home plate umpire Monday, then rotating to rightfield and on from there.
Torres has home plate tonight, Miller in Game 3, Rippeger in Game 4, Baker in Game 5 and Fairchild in Game 6 before Hamari would get his turn, according to MLB.com.
Wegner’s crew for the National League Championship Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers that started Sunday includes Ryan Additon, Edwin Moscoso, Alan Porter, David Rackley, Chris Segal and John Tumpane.
Wegner, 54, made his big league debut in 1998 and was crew chief for last year's World Series. He was behind the plate for Game 3, an 18-inning, 609-pitch, 6-hour, 39-minute marathon won by the Dodgers 6-5 over Toronto.
Hamari worked the plate in Game 6 in last year's World Series, when the Dodgers won 3-1 to force Game 7.
Erich Bacchus, Lance Barkdale and Adam Beck will be the replay umpires at MLB’s office in New York.
