NMU hockey tickets for single games on sale

It also includes the NMU Hockey Jersey Retirement luncheon set for the Holiday Inn of Marquette at lunchtime of the home opener on Friday, Oct. 2.
That's when the celebration begins for the raising to the rafters of jerseys worn by three stars of the early years of Wildcat hockey -- 1970s-early '80s-era players Steve Bozek, Tom Laidlaw and Don Waddell.
On that day, doors for the luncheon open at 11:30 a.m., food to be served at noon and the ceremony set to begin at 12:30 p.m. Fans will hear from the honorees and other NMU hockey dignitaries, such as their coach and current Northern athletic director Rick Comley.
And attendees can also mingle with the luminaries after the luncheon is over.
Tickets are also available for the game that night against Miami (Ohio) that starts at 7:07 p.m., just like every other NMU Friday home game this season. All Saturday home games start at 6:07 p.m.
There are 18 home games this season, including a Friday night and Saturday night -- on separate weekends -- against top Upper Peninsula rival Michigan Tech, who the Wildcats play each time in their traditional home-and-home format.
After the Miami series, which also includes a Saturday, Oct. 3, game, comes Stonehill out of conference before the CCHA slate includes Minnesota State-Mankato and Bowling Green State in November; Michigan Tech and Augustana in December; Bemidji State, MTU and Ferris State in January; and Northern's other U.P. rival Lake Superior State in February.
Fans can purchase tickets at the NMU Tickets website at nmu.universitytickets.com, then looking at the categories on the left side of the home page for "NMU Hockey."
Purchase of these single-game tickets is also available at the Superior Dome ticket office, which is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
